Morris Museum welcomes Scott Kobler & Paul Santucci to Board of Trustees

(Morristown, NJ)- The Morris Museum is pleased to announce the election of two new members to its Board of Trustees.  Mr. Scott A. Kobler, LLP is a partner specializing in public finance with McCarter & English, LLP, and Mr. Paul Santucci is the Managing Director, Region Manager, North Atlantic for UBS.

“The passion and commitment of the museum’s board has been paramount to the success of the Morris Museum,” said Board Chair Mary Chandor. “We enthusiastically welcome these two stellar leaders. Each one possesses an area of expertise that will be instrumental in the continued achievements of the Morris Museum.”

Scott A. Kobler, LLP

Mr. Kobler, a member of the Executive Committee of Mc Carter & English, New Jersey’s oldest and largest law firm, has substantial experience in complex financings for non-profits. He has held various other positions of committee leadership and management within the firm.

He is chairman of the Board of Commissioners of NJN, the New Jersey Public Broadcasting Authority, and is a trustee of the New Jersey Network Foundation. Mr. Kobler also serves as commissioner for the New Jersey Motion Picture and Television Development Commission and Vice Chairman of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra. He has been involved extensively with many organizations having served as president of the Essex Fells Board of Education and Chairman of The Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey.

Mr. Kobler received his A.B. from Princeton University and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law. Mr. Kobler resides in Essex Fells with his wife and daughter.

Paul Santucci

Mr. Santucci is the Managing Director, Region Manager, North Atlantic for UBS. He has more than 20 years experience in finance, having served as a senior vice president at Prudential Securities Incorporated, manager at Salomon Smith Barney and sales manager at Shearson Lehman Brothers.

Mr. Santucci is a member of the Fairleigh Dickinson University board of trustees and an executive board member with both the Tri County Scholarship Fund and the Hermits of Bethlehem. In his spare time, he is also active with the New Jersey Football Program in Madison.

He received a B.S. from Fairleigh Dickinson University and later went on to pursue graduate studies there as well.

Mr. Santucci and his wife reside in Morristown with their three children.

These two executives join a Board of Trustees comprised of 39 top corporate, philanthropic and community leaders.

Founded in 1913, the Morris Museum explores and celebrates the arts, sciences and humanities through exhibitions, educational programs, performing arts and special events. The museum serves over 200,000 adults, including 100,000 children each year.

The Morris Museum, located at 6 Normandy Heights Road (at the corner of Columbia Turnpike) in Morristown, NJ, is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Thursday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; and Sunday 1-5 p.m. Admission to the museum is $6 for adults and $4 for children, students and senior citizens.
