The Mammal
Gallery exhibits some of the best examples of skeletons and
taxidermy our permanent natural science collection has to
offer.
Central to the gallery is our well-known Grizzly Bear,
who towers in greeting over young and old alike and has
become a landmark of the Morris Museum landscape.
Here, visitors
can learn about endangered species, birds of prey, and
local animal life. Find out what a lagomorph, perissodactyl,
or
chiropteran might possibly be, and see if you have some
in your own backyard!
