October 21, 2003 - January 4, 2004
Robert Henri, Kathleen. Oil on canvas, 1924.
The Morris Museum is the premier location for Through American Eyes, a traveling exhibition that presents a variety of treasures from the last two centuries of American art. This exhibition offers the opportunity to compare how artists from different backgrounds and time periods portray their world, from academic painting and sculpture, self-taught artists, pioneers in the studio glass movement and 20th century American printmaking. This exhibition contains approximately 75 art works including painting, sculpture, prints, glass, folk art, textiles and firearms.

Through American Eyes is on view at the Morris Museum between October 21, 2003 and January 4, 2004 and is provided courtesy of the Huntington Museum of Art in Huntington, West Virginia.
