On Saturday, March 6,
children of all ages can take a guided tour with museum educators through
the Eyes on Earth exhibition. Children will gain insight into satellite
technology and get "hands-on" with interactive stations.
The tours start at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., and the cost is $3 / members
and $4 / plus museum admission for non-members. No registration is

A professional development workshop for teachers is also offered
in conjunction with Eyes on Earth. The workshop, called Exploring
Space, takes place on Thursday, April 8, 2004, from 4:30-7:30 p.m.
Kathie Klein of the Buehler Challenger & Science Center in Paramus,
N.J. will present the workshop, which consists of hands-on activities
to assist elementary and middle school educators in teaching about
the solar system. The cost is $45 per teacher. To register or for
