The exhibition will highlight the following areas of the museum’s collection:

Costumes
Includes a dress worn at President Abraham Lincoln’s inauguration

Dollhouses
Includes a replication of a home that still stands in Bedminster, N.J. A section of play dollhouses will also be available for children to play with and touch.

Fine Art
Includes works by Philip Pearlstein, Alex Katz and Alexander Calder

Contemporary Glass
Includes works by Dale Chihuly

Decorative Arts
Includes silver, Royal Daulton ceramics, quilts and Staffordshire dogs

Natural Science
Includes geology, taxidermy, rocks and minerals

Ethnographic Items
Includes Native American items

Children’s Furniture
Includes antique highchairs, carriages, cribs

The exhibition also features a section on the Bickford Theatre, which will include information on the creation and history of the Bickford Theatre as well as playbills, costumes and a partial set from years past.
