The Morris Museum’s exhibition, Style, Color, Glamour: Clothes from the House of Scaasi, features designs by fashion icon Arnold Scaasi, who has dressed notable figures such as First Lady Barbara Bush, Elizabeth Taylor and Barbara Streisand. Twenty-one of the 31 dresses and coats donated to the Morris Museum by the House of Scaasi in 1997 will be on display between July 22, 2003 and June 27, 2004.

“Scaasi is known for his brilliant craftsmanship, color and design,” said Elizabeth Laba, volunteer coordinator of costumes at the Morris Museum. “The designs in the museum’s collection demonstrate these qualities and the bold use of pattern combinations and dramatic draping.”
