Permanent Exhibition: Geraldine R. Dodge Room

Geraldine R. Dodge Room
This handsome room has been dedicated to Geraldine Rockefeller Dodge (1882-1973), daughter of William and Almira Goodsell Rockefeller, wife of Marcellus Hartly Dodge, and community-minded resident of Madison, New Jersey. During her lifetime, Mrs. Dodge provided money and land in order to see Madison not only grow but flourish, and established Saint Hubert’s Giralda, a local animal shelter, in 1937.

The “Dodge Room,” founded as a permanent memorial for Mrs. Dodge in 1975, is home to a number of paintings and sculpture that reflect her life and keen interest in community and animal welfare.
