Written by Murtogh D. Guinness about his remarkable 700 piece collection of mechanical musical instruments and automata, this book features full color images of the ingenous objects. Offering first-hand accounts from the collector himself on how he began collecting, as well as information about the origins of the pieces that date back to the 1800s, the book was originally written for the Musical Box Association with black and white images. The Morris Museum recently published this updated version.
