"Paon Marchant"
(Walking Peacock)

Once wound up, this mechanical, walking peacock with a real plume struts along, stops and raises its iridescent fantail. Like many of the simpler, animal automata-ranging from elephants, to rabbits, bears, crocodiles and more-the peacock does not play music. However, if you listen closely, you can hear the slight whirring sound of its mechanism as it walks.
