Tot Tours take place on the third Friday of every month at 10 a.m. This program is for very young children and their caregivers. Activities include: mini gallery tours, story reading in the galleries and arts and crafts.

Join museum educators each month to experiment with a variety of art-making techniques and materials. Create artworks based on what you see and learn in the galleries. Artistic ability is not required, but imagination and creativity are!

Nancy Ori, professional photographer, will provide a review of camera functions, along with an in-depth exploration of camera features, beyond the basic beginner course. Improve your understanding of lighting, use of flash, and custom camera operations. There will be an opportunity to photograph select subjects at the museum. For the first session, bring a camera and its instruction book, a notebook, and photo project ideas.

Princeton-based quilt artist Carol Schepps will discuss her work and how she uses textiles and thread as the medium to merge her love of fabric, color and graphic design. Schepps’ work Color Squares is currently on view at the museum’s exhibition Art Quilts: Contemporary Expressions from the Collection of John M. Walsh III.

Make your own picture frame with Morristown-based Glassworks Studio. In this workshop students will produce an art glass picture frame using glass strings to create grids which create bubbles to form a pattern.
