One of the highlights of many a visitor’s Morris Museum experience is the recently-refurbished Model Railroad. The Railroad is maintained by loyal and dedicated volunteers who work to ensure an enjoyable experience of a well-loved classic hobby.

Numerous trains move on four different tracks through a world of imagination, framed by a lovingly-painted mural of the “Morris Museum Express” as it travels across the countryside.

As part of the museum's expansion and renovation project,

the Model Railroad exhibition will be closed beginning May 16, 2006 and will reopen at a later date.
