The Morris Museum Holiday Tree Festival is an annual event sponsored by the Friends of the Morris Museum that began in 1986. The festival showcases wreaths, garlands, table centerpieces and gift items designed by members of the Friends or donated by local design businesses.
Guests are welcome to purchase the ornate holiday items or to simply enjoy the magnificent displays. Equally stunning are the elaborately decorated, seven-foot community trees. The trees are sponsored by local corporations and then donated to charities at the end of the festival.
Throughout the week, local community and school music groups will perform to the delight of visitors.

For the refreshment of patrons, a Tea Room will offer soup, sandwiches and desserts.
The Festival wraps up on Saturday, December 9 with the Teddy Bear Tea, a holiday luncheon for children and their families.
As a gift to the community, the Morris Museum is pleased to offer FREE admission, as well as extended hours during this weeklong festival.
The Tree Festival is one of several historic stops on the annual Holly Walk, organized by participating historic sites. The Holly Walk will take place on Saturday, December 2 and Sunday, December 3. Tickets are available for sale at the Morris Museum Shop, 973.971.3700.
