Invitations to a Wedding: Bridal Gowns from the 1820s to the Present
Through November 15
Here come the brides! Featuring an exquisite selection of more than 40 historic bridal gowns accompanied by jewelry and accessories from the museum’s extensive collection of costumes and textiles.
Also on view will be an extensive display of wedding photos, invitations, marriage licenses and other items dating back to the 17th century, including a marriage license issued by King George III prior to the American Revolution.
