All camps are 10:00am-1:00pm and are appropriate for children entering grades 1-4.

Please call 973-971-3718 or email programs@morrismuseum.org to reserve your child’s space.  Reservations must be made at least one week prior to the camp date.

Wednesday, July 10

Create goo, play dough, do a liquid density experiment, and enjoy a performance of Bubbleology in the Bickford Theatre.

Dinomania

Thursday, July 11

Time travel to prehistoric New Jersey, Make an imprint fossil, and then enjoy a performance of Dinoman in the Bickford Theatre.

Music, Music, Music!

Child in Guinness ExhibitionExplore how people in the past enjoyed music through the exhibitions Music Machines and Living Dolls and Rags, those Beautiful Rags and then make some musical instruments of your own.

Hunt for different types of art throughout the museum and use a variety of mediums to create masterpieces of your own.

LEGO® Challenge

Participate in LEGO® build challenges, make a free form 3D sculpture, and learn how to plot out a LEGO® mosaic.  A materials list will be provided with registration.

Explore how animals live in the wild, examine real specimens, and play tracks and traces.

Thursday, July 25

Discover how the Native Americans made everything they needed, and then create your own version of store bought items such as ice cream and chalk.

Learn about sea life, make an eye patch, and enjoy a performance of The Pirate and the Pea in the Bickford Theatre.

The Wizard of Oz

Make a tissue paper poppy, create a mask of your favorite character, and enjoy a performance of The Wizard of Oz in the Bickford Theatre.

Learn what it takes to survive!  Play endangered species musical and decorate a reusable shopping bag.

Explore the exhibition All Dressed Up: Gowns from the Morris Museum Collection, learn to do fashion sketching, and make your own accessories.
